Keep QuickBooks Desktop up to date without touching it.
When you send an invoice from Podium, it shows up in QuickBooks Desktop on its own. Payments, line items, taxes, discounts, and the customer record come across with it, so your books match what your customers actually received.
What syncs
How it works
Podium hands each invoice to Autymate, which writes it into your QuickBooks Desktop company file. Your QuickBooks data stays on your machine — Podium never connects to it directly.
What you'll need
Compatibility
Quickbooks Desktop 2020 or newer
Setup Process
1. Download the Autymate app
On the computer that hosts your QuickBooks Desktop company file, download and run the installer:
Download Autymate for Podium (Windows, ~82 MB)
It has to be the same machine QuickBooks runs on — the app talks to your company file locally, so installing it elsewhere won't work.
2. Sign in to Autymate
Open the app and sign in with your Autymate account. Select the QuickBooks Desktop company file you want Podium to sync into.
3. Connect Podium
In Autymate, choose Podium and authorize the connection, then pick the Podium location to link.
4. Send a test invoice
Send an invoice from Podium and confirm it lands in QuickBooks Desktop. Keep QuickBooks open while syncing. In Podium you can also open the integration and use Sync Invoices Now to pull recent invoices across on demand.
